About the route planner
Get to know stops, anchors and what to expect from the demo.
What can I do with the LetsRide motorcycle route planner?
Search for a start and destination, add stops along the way, drag stops to reorder them, and preview a route on the map with its estimated distance and riding time. The demo is designed for planning rides in Australia; results depend on the available map coverage.
Can I change the route by dragging it?
Yes. Drag the route on the map to add an anchor and change its path. Drag a stop marker to move it, or use the handles in the panel to reorder stops. Undo restores your previous change.
What is the difference between a stop and an anchor?
A stop is a place you plan to visit. An anchor guides the route along your preferred roads without adding a stop. Select a point on the map to turn an anchor into a stop, or turn an intermediate stop into an anchor. Stops can also have a label and an icon.
Do I need an account to try the route planner?
No. You can search for places and plan a route in this browser demo without creating a LetsRide account. Your plan is saved on this device as you go. Import a GPX, add ride details and review your day, then sign up or log in to make it a real ride in LetsRide.
Does the demo provide live navigation?
This browser demo is for route planning. It does not provide live turn-by-turn navigation or live traffic updates. Distance and riding time are estimates, and riding time excludes breaks. Check road conditions before you ride.
