LetsRide Child Safety Standards

Motosoft Pty Ltd operates LetsRide, a social platform for motorcycle riders. LetsRide has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to all LetsRide users, profiles, rides, messages, images and other activity on the service.

For these standards, a child is any person under 18 years of age.

Australian framework and principles

Motosoft's approach is guided by Australia's National Strategy to Prevent and Respond to Child Sexual Abuse 2021–2030 and the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations published through ChildSafety.gov.au.

We apply the following principles to LetsRide:

• The safety and wellbeing of children and young people comes first.
• Concerns and disclosures are taken seriously and handled promptly.
• Reporting pathways should be clear, accessible and safe to use.
• Responses should be trauma-informed, culturally safe and respectful of the person reporting.
• Personal information should be protected and shared only when appropriate for safety, investigation or legal compliance.
• Child-safety risks should be identified, reduced and reviewed as LetsRide changes.
• Our actions should support transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.

Prohibited content and conduct

LetsRide prohibits:

• Creating, uploading, possessing, requesting, promoting, distributing or sharing CSAM.
• Any content or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, sexualises or endangers a child.
• Grooming, solicitation, coercion, sextortion or attempted sexual exploitation of a child.
• Trafficking or facilitating the trafficking of children for sexual exploitation.
• Using LetsRide to arrange, encourage, advertise or facilitate CSAE.
• Links, instructions or attempts to obtain or distribute CSAM.
• Threatening, concealing or assisting any conduct prohibited by these standards.

These prohibitions apply even when content is shared privately, sent as a joke, generated or altered digitally, or exchanged outside LetsRide after contact began through the service.

How to report a concern

Users can report a child safety concern in the LetsRide app:

1. Open Settings.
2. Select Help and feedback.
3. Select Feedback and safety reports.
4. Choose Child safety concern and provide the relevant details.

Reports may also be emailed to support@motosoft.com.au with the subject LetsRide Child Safety Report.

Please provide the username involved, where the concern occurred and a clear description of what happened. Screenshots may be included when safe and lawful. Do not download, copy, forward or share suspected illegal material in order to make a report.

Review and enforcement

Motosoft reviews child safety reports as a priority and takes action appropriate to the circumstances and applicable law. Actions may include:

• Restricting access to or removing violating content.
• Suspending or permanently terminating accounts.
• Taking steps to prevent repeat abuse.
• Preserving relevant account and report information when appropriate and lawful.
• Cooperating with lawful requests from competent authorities.

LetsRide may take action without prior notice when necessary to protect a child, another user or the integrity of an investigation.

Reporting to authorities

Motosoft complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations. We maintain a process to report confirmed CSAM and other reportable child exploitation to the appropriate authority when required by law.

The National Office for Child Safety leads Australia's national policy and strategy but does not investigate criminal matters or provide child protection services. Following the reporting guidance published on ChildSafety.gov.au:

• If a child is in immediate danger, contact Triple Zero (000).
• Online child sexual exploitation, including CSAM and sextortion, is reported to the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE) and, where appropriate, police.
• Illegal or harmful online content may also be reported to the eSafety Commissioner for investigation and removal action.
• Other concerns that a child is at risk of abuse, harm or neglect are directed to the relevant state or territory child protection agency.

ChildSafety.gov.au is our primary Australian Government guidance source for preventing and responding to child sexual abuse. We review that guidance and our reporting procedures as requirements evolve.

This inbox is monitored for child safety reports and policy escalations. Reports are handled confidentially to the extent reasonably possible, subject to safety and legal obligations.

Updates

Motosoft may update these standards to reflect changes to LetsRide, our safety practices or applicable requirements. The effective date shown on this page identifies the current version.
